A New Frontier in Healthcare Innovation with Groundbreaking Cardiff Hub

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new innovation hub at Cardiff Medicentre.

This bold expansion for us will give Frontier Medical Group seamless access to academia, healthcare professionals and engineering talent, helping us to achieve our strategic goals of launching new solutions for healthcare workers and patients globally.

Our Technical Director, Simon Bosley, said: “The hub is set in the grounds of the University Hospital of Wales, with Cardiff Medicentre being a joint venture between Cardiff University and Cardiff & Vale University Health Board, so this exciting new satellite hub is a sound strategic move for us. Remaining at the cutting edge of innovation requires us to have access to the best resources, facilities and knowledge, so Cardiff Medicentre was clearly the perfect fit. We are very much looking forward to rolling our sleeves up and getting to work at the innovation hub, which will become a centre for research, for prototyping new products, as well as place for smart networking and relationship building. I know a number of exciting new projects will come to fruition via this facility.”

Cardiff Medicentre provides 32 units of laboratory and office space for biotech and medtech businesses to advance healthcare and life sciences. We expect our innovation hub to be operational later this year.
