Ultracore with Repose Inside is an immersive, reactive air, foam hybrid mattress, designed for the prevention and treatment of all categories of pressure ulcers, as part of a pressure ulcer prevention strategy. Ultracore consists of three components to offer exceptional pressure redistribution properties, refer to the product features tab to find out more.
REPOSE MATTRESS OVERLAY
- A reactive air, pressure redistribution and reduction support surface, with high levels of immersion and envelopment.
FOAM U-CORE
- Designed to follow the contours of a profiling bed, the u-core structure provides extra stability and support to the mattress
COVER
- A multi-stretch polyurethane cover, that is moisture vapour permeable, water resistant and has a protective ingress zip cover

INDICATIONS FOR USE
Ultracore Repose Inside is designed for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers and is intended to be used in conjunction with an appropriately sized bed frame, as part of a pressure ulcer prevention program.
- Designed to be cleaned and reused.
- Patients identified as being up to very high risk as defined by commonly used assessment tools.
- For the treatment of all categories of pressure ulcers when used as part of a package of care.
LIMITATIONS FOR USE
Repose is not suitable for the following:
- Persons weighing in excess of 222kg
- Persons with unstable spinal fractures
- Where body shape is such that the person cannot be fully supported by the Repose mattress overlay or cushion
- Repose is suitable for use with bed and trolley side rails subject to the bed or trolley manufacturer’s instructions and appropriate risk assessment
PRECAUTIONS
- Must not be used on a double bed mattress frame
- Not for persons weighing in excess of 222 kg / 35 stone
- Not for persons with unstable spinal fractures
- Avoid direct contact with heat and sharp objects
- Keep away from pets
- Where body shape is such that the person cannot be fully supported
If deterioration in skin condition is noted, clinical advice should be sought and, if so advised, use of the product discontinued. Avoid direct contact with heat and sharp objects. When deflated, keep away from babies and small children. Keep away from pets.
