Repose reactive air pressure redistribution Prone Mattress Overlay and Large Wedge for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers, for patients being treated in the prone position. Repose® is a clinically effective, convenient, and cost-effective way to relieve capacity pressures in any care setting.
The Repose Prone Kit enables healthcare professionals to achieve ‘floating feet’ while protecting the head, face, chin and chest for any patient in the prone position, whether ventilated or not.

INDICATIONS FOR USE
Repose provides effective pressure redistribution for all people at risk of developing pressure ulcers, including those assessed as being very high risk. Repose is also appropriate for users with pressure related tissue damage – clinical supervision should be sought where the damage is severe.
LIMITATIONS FOR USE
Repose is not suitable for the following:
- Persons weighing more than 222kg*
- Persons with unstable spinal fractures
- Where body shape is such that the person cannot be fully supported
- Repose is suitable for use with bed and trolley side rails subject to the bed or trolley manufacturer’s instructions and appropriate risk assessment
PRECAUTIONS
If skin condition deteriorates, seek clinical advice and, if so advised, discontinue use. Avoid direct contact with heat and sharp objects. When deflated, keep away from babies and small children. Keep away from pets.
